Birthday Festivities

On Tuesday, the 5th, my actual birthday (I'm a little behind), Nate and I went to The Melting Pot, one of our favorites. So Yummy! He even let me get the lobster! It's good to be 22.

On Thursday, Dad and Jerolyn took us to Maddox to celebrate my birthday. Great food, although every time I saw a waiter or buser looking stressed, I thought of Carly and how when she worked there she came home crying every night. See her post about that.

On Sunday, Nate and I went to Salt Lake City to go to the baby blessing of a good friend of Nate, Nate. His little girl, Daphne, is the cutest little angel! She was so good and peaceful. If my children are half as cute as she is I'll be happy.

Nate and I discovered a most funny British show called The IT Crowd. Everyone should check it out. With the lack of good comedy these days, this was a refreshing surprise. It also helps that I'm married to an IT guy. The British come up with all the good ideas, The Office, Top Gear, Dr. Who and now The IT Crowd. It seems like these are the only shows we watch these days. (Except for the Food Network and Project Runway.)

For Valentine's Day we went to Texas Roadhouse, which was fabulous. Nate rebelled and gave me these beautiful flowers the day before. Fun day.

Hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day!
Love,
Lisa
