4th of July

Here are some photos from the 4th. We had a really fun day in Farr West, at their freedom festival. It seems like the whole family was involved this year. Annette was in charge of the parade, therefore Camille, Cody, Erika, Logan, John, Unni, Gramps, Nate and I all were involved. Nate and Gramps were actually in the parade and Mom and Ray did the music and sound all day at the park. Erika and I got to be the judges for the parade.
Nate got to ride in Ray's airplane on the veterans float as the pilot. He was pretty excited about that. Check out the guy in the uniform, pretty cool that it still fits him! Nate was trading war stories with them throughout the parade. They thought he was a teenager, even though he told them he was married to me. Ah, I love old people.
Gramps was also in the parade as part of "The Lawn Mower Brigade", with all the other people in the neighborhood with awesome lawnmowers. Gramps by far has the best yard in Farr West. Go Gramps!
After the parade, Nate and I went and saw Wall-e, which we both LOVED. We then relaxed for a bit and then headed back to the park for the Greek dinner and fireworks. Sam, Irene, Kylee and Zac came also and we got to hang out for awhile and played with glowy things, my favorite! Oh yeah, and fireworks.

Happy 4th of July! We live in a great country!
